  1. Bob, Bill and Christ,
    I finally got through listening. It took four different listening days since I was interrupted alot but gland I did go over it those times.
    You may never know how bless I have been by your studies but you have given me so much.
    I took notes and will go over them and use them. Jesus on the cross said it is finished and I feel like this is all we can do now.
    Ezekiel 7:6; “An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.”

    God bless you and be with you in the days ahead. My many thanks for all that you have done. You have all my heartful love,

    Vickie

  2. A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE

    I believe in the Second Coming of Christ, but, I DO NOT believe the rapture theory. here are a few problem areas that pre-tribbers try to make us swallow:

    A. JOHN & THE CHURCH RAPTURED TOGETHER – John has never left the isle of Patmos, yet, when John saw Jesus in the letters to the churches he was in the Spirit. He must have been raptured and then returned to earth to deliver those letters. John was then in the Spirit again, when a door was opened in heaven, and the Church was then raptured with him! At Revelation 10, John is back on Earth when he hears a voice from heaven. Does he lug the Church with him? At 11:16; he’s back at the throne of God when he sees the four and twenty elders, so I guess the Church is united again in heaven. However, the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, and John’s got to be back on Earth with the Church. John is also back on Earth at 13:1-18, 14:1, 16, 18:1, and 19-20. This yo yo-ing of John & the Church is the only possibility if one is to buy the theory that the Church is ruptured with John at Chapter 4.

    B. A BOTTOMLESS PIT – If this were truly a bottomless pit, all Satan would have to do to escape it, would be to walk out of the other end. This has to be symbolic. (Thank you Bill Johnson!)

    C. THE BLESSED HOPE – To turn the ‘blessed hope’ into a rapture proof text, the cult must throw out those words to the sheep without reading from verse 11. If they did, the multitude would see that the ‘blessed hope’ is, in fact, ‘the grace of God that bringeth salvation.’ In other words, the blessed hope is to be a chosen child of God through the faith of Jesus. In context it reads at Titus 2:11-13; For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

    D. A REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE – This is supposedly based on the ten toes of the statue from Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. This European Union started off with 7 members, and presently has 27 member states, with more applying for membership. How do they get 10 from this?

    E. REVELATION IS A CONSECUTIVE TIME LINE – At Chapter 13, we see a beast having seven heads with ten horns, ten crowns [kings], and the name of blasphemy. In Chapter 17, we see a beast having seven heads with ten horns, ten kings [crowns], and the names of blasphemy. Is the first orange the same as the second orange? I would say so. Yet, the chronology is in reverse order. At 17:8; the earth “shall wonder,” while at 13:3; they “wondered” after the the beast.

    F. A 70th YEAR – Their explanation is that the entire 69 years have been fulfilled. They also say that an entire 70th year is still to happen in the future. This is what I call; IMPOSSIBLE TIME, for no matter how close one comes to the midnight hour, it will still fall on one day or another. Even if it’s just one second, that would mean that the time before, or the time after would not be a complete period of time.

    G. THE HEAD OF GOLD IS THE LION – According to scriptures this is an impossibility and needs to be reevaluated, by rapture adherents. At Daniel 7:1; Belshazzar is king of Babylon. This would be at the end of the empire of gold, and right before the writing on the wall. At verse 17, it says that the 4 beasts “shall arise.” If Babylon is the lion, verse 17 would be worded differently, like; “after this lion kingdom, those other THREE beasts shall arise,” or words to that effect.

    H. A QUIET THIEF – I guess he carries an ax.

    I. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him. – 2nd Thessalonians 2:1

    This verse equated it with the rapture. This is not true, and it is nothing more than say, Chris Ardern, Bob Gerrity, and Bill Johnson, getting together to present a ‘Watchmen Weekly’ radio show. Verse 3 says:

    Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

    In order to give his congregation its daily spell, the liar behind the pulpit has to read Chapter 2 at a Gatling gun pace. I will slow it down, take it apart, and show you what it really says. First, I will assign these letters to sections of the scripture, as follows:

    A = “that day”
    B = “there come a falling away”
    C = “that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

    Next, I will replace these items with others to further illustrate my point:

    A = “the Brewer game”
    B = “I buy two tickets”
    C = “I fill up the car.”

    Now, if I were to substitute the first group, with the second group into the verse, it would read like this:

    “Let no man deceive you by any means: for the Brewer game (Go team!) shall not come, except I buy two tickets first, and I fill up the car.”

    My elementary knowledge of English grammar tells me that, just because item A is mentioned first, that does not mean that it is the first thing to happen. In fact, the word “first” indicates that A comes after B and C. The words “that day” also appear earlier in 2 Thessalonians, and it is the same; “that day.” You won’t have any Dispensationalists preach about this “day” when playing the 2 Thessalonians 2:3 shell game though. It is mentioned in in 2 Thes 1:10, where the chapter is definitely speaking of the 2nd Advent of Jesus Christ! I will bring this out even clearer, by attaching 2:3 right after 1:10 now:

    [1:7] And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, [8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: [9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; [10] When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day…[2:3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.” -2 Thessalonian 1:7-10, & 2:3

    J. THE INVISIBLE COMING – Even the proof texts that are used for a repture, have in them, a visible return of Christ:

    1. Titus 2:13…the glorious appearing.
    2. 1 John 2:28;… when he shall appear.
    3. 1 John 3:2;… when he shall appear.
    4. 1 Peter 1:7;…the appearing of Jesus Christ.
    5. Heb 9:28;…shall he appear the second time.
    6. 2 Tim 4:1;…at his appearing and his kingdom.
    7. Col 3:4; When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
    8. Phil 3:20-21;…we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

    K. PSEUDO-EPHRAEM – At http://insight2bp.homestead.com/129.html is a pretty good article as to why this early sermon is not reliable; (Thank you David Vaughn Elliott) and

    L. THE LAST TRUMPET – There’s only one last trumpet. [?] Just like after your last cup of coffee, there’s not another last cup. (Thank you James Lloyd)

    M. THE SECOND COMING – The rapture turns the 2nd coming into a 3rd coming. [¿}

    N. THE ELECT – We are the elect. (Thank you Jesus Christ)

    O. THE RESURECTION – 1 Corinthians 15 talks about “the” resurection, not the rapture. Elsewhere in the Bible, it is “the” resurection.

    P. IMMANENCY – The idea here is that, since the Ascension, Christ could come back at any unannounced moment, without any prophesied signs. This however is false because time had to be allowed for:

    1. Peter had to die.
    2. The Jewish Temple had to be destroyed.
    3. The deadly wound of the nation of Israel had to be healed in 1948.
    4. The Gospel has to preached to all nations.
    On top of that, there can be no fulfillment of prophecy if His return is immanent, & any idea of, say a discovery of a huge oil field in Israel cannot happen in their scenario. [?¿?¿?]
