Bernard Pyron

We take a break from the False Prophet Series and welcome our good friend Bernard Pyron. Bernard brings a wealth of understanding and many years of faithful service to the Lord Jesus Christ as a voice of truth in the wilderness. Bernard wrote the book “The Great Rebellion” exposing the apostasy of the Christian church. The significance is the fact it was written 30 years ago. Even then God was raising up those with eyes to see what was becoming of the House Of God. Welcome Bernard, our good friend. (Forgive the abrupt introduction and ending.)

One Response to “Bernard Pyron”

  1. Chris; maybe I can assist you. At Jer 31:31 it reads: “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.” So we know it will be a new covenant. Same at Isa 42:6 which says: “I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.” Hebrews says that it is “a better covenant” and “the everlasting covenant.” It might be helpful to insert a word, so that it reads at Dan 9:27; “And he shall confirm the [eternal] covenant with many for one week.” Now, if I worked 9 – 5, it would still be reckoned that I worked for a day. The same is with Jesus. Even though He ministered for 3 & 1/2 years, He was reckoned to have ministered for that whole week. After His Resurrection, not only was it clear what the new covenant was to His disciples, but, “many” saw Him for 40 days afterward. Finally, if there is any doubt, the sister passage to Dan 9:27; Gal 3:17; makes it clear who confirmed the covenant, with very simalar words: “the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ. In Daniel it says He “shall confirm” and in Jesus it was fulfillled, and “was confirmed.”
